Maharaja Srischandra College invites sealed quotations (along with existing client list) for KOHA software:

Requirements

01) Complete migration of bibliographic, patron and circulation data from installed LMS.

02) Data audit report with identification and re-conciliation of records where migration is not possible.

03) Migrated holding data should encompass all information as per KOHA 9XX fields, including accession date as per installed LMS.

04) Installation of latest stable version of KOHA ILMS on local system

05) Technical Support cover should include one major version update every 6 month.

06) Remote support to be provided over desktop sharing software (Anydesk / Teamviewer)

07) Local support may be provided as required.

08) A fool-proof bare-metal recovery imaging of the locally installed system to be provided to the college.

09) The recovery image should be updated at the time of major version upgrade.

10) The installed system should allow for user-initiated daily remote data backup along with user notification.

11) The system should have monthly remote backup facility for DR (disaster recovery) at a location other than above for enhanced data safety.

12) The configuration of the LMS should include provision for upto 3 custom MARC21 frameworks (i.e. not supplied with KOHA)

13) The OPAC should be configured with logo and name of the college / college library.

14) The OPAC should support Koha-as-CMS capability.

15) The vendor will be responsible for created the necessary OPAC pages using the facility above as required by the college.

16) The vendor shall provide complete documentation of the configuration changes made along with any changes made to the system files.

17) The college shall have perpetual royalty-free access to all source-code integrated into the system under a suitable GPL v3 compatible license.

18) The vendor shall provide as documented patchset for any changes / additions made to the KOHA ILMS under the above term. 

19) 2 days of local full-time onsite training for the library staff members. The training may be required to be provided as two consecutive days or split across two separate days as per the decision of the college. A offer with off-site training at vendor's premises may be a cause of disqualification.

20) The vendor shall load the pre-made SQL report library as available on the KOHA WIKI.

21) Additionally, the vendor shall be required to provide up to 10 custom SQL reports (that are not included in KOHA WIKI) at any time during the support period.

Essential Terms & Conditions

Any deemed non-compliance to the above requirement as adjudged by the college authorities will result in cancellation of order. The decision of college in the matter shall be final and binding on all parties concerned. Since data migration is the most critical part of the project, a bidder who opts to demonstrate their competence in the same, to the satisfaction of the college authority, without any charge to the college for such demonstration, will be given preferential treatment during vendor selection.

Quotations must be submitted to accountant, in college office by 25/04/2019 at 6.00 p.m at the latest.
