 Sealed quotations are invited by the Principal, Maharaja Srischandra College for Dismantling and Sale of one Two storied and partly three storied building existing pre. No. 12, Padma Nath Lane, Kolkata- 700004 on ‘as is where is’ basis.  Last date of submission of Quotation is 04/07/2018.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDING

It is a Two storied and partly three storied Building having covered area of approximately 1100 Sft. at ground level

Structure - Brick Masonry with Wooden beam and burgah and lime concrete over earthen tiles.

Doors – Wooden Frame and Wooden paneled Door

Windows – Wooden frame with Wooden Venetian Shutter

Floors – Partly mosaic and partly patent stone

Toilet pipelines – H.C.I Pipes and G.I Pipes

Electrical wiring –   Copper wire

DEFINITIONS

1.     Owner means  The Principal of Maharaja Srischandra College

2.     College authorities means staffs or persons engaged by the Principal, Maharaja Srischandra College.

3.     Agency means the firm or a person entrusted for dismantling the building under reference.

4.     Building means the masonry structure with services existing at pre no.12, Padma Nath Lane.

SALE of the Building means

(a) Dismantling of all parts of the building existing at 12, Padma Nath Lane, Kolkata including brickwork, concrete work, steelwork, plastering, flooring etc. etc. along with all service lines like sewerage , drainage, plumbing lines, water supply lines, electrical lines including accessoties.

And

(b)  Removal of all salvage materials and debris/building rubbish beyond the periphery of pre. No. 12, Padma Nath Lane, Kolkata-700004.

SCOPE OF WORK

Dismantling  of existing building including Foundation and all its service  pipe lines l at pre no.12, Padma Nath Lane, Kolkata-700004 and removal of  all salvage materials , building debris, building rubbish from the premises immediately after dismantling.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.     Bidders are  instructed to inspect the Building and  the site before quoting their OFFER

2.      All precautionary and protective measures have to be taken by the Agency during dismantling works and removal of debris as per guide lines of West Bengal Pollution Control Board.

3.     Approval of W B P C B or any other Competent Authority for dismantling operation if required has to be obtained by the Agency at his cost prior to taking up the Job.

4.     Permission from Kolkata Police authorities and Kolkata Municipal Corporation in respect of stacking and removal of debris  are to be taken  by the Agency.

5.     The agency will have to execute an Indemnity Bond on Non Judicial Stamp Paper of appropriate value indemnifying the Owner and College Authorities from any accident out of the said Dismantling Work.

6.     In addition to above the Agency has to take one All Risk Policy (ARP) covering the damage if any, caused to adjacent buildings and on the life of the workers  engaged by the Agency.

7.     All care should be taken by the Agency during excavating of foundation or any underground structure to see that service line like water or electric lines of the adjacent buildings are not damaged.

8.     The Agency will not be allowed to pile up the debris on the road or at the front of adjacent buildings causing hindrance to movement of  both vehicular or pedestrian .traffic.

9.     All Safety measures like SAFETY BELT, SAFETY NET, HELMET are to be provided by the Agency to his workers  and to ensure these are used during Dismantling operation.

10.            All notices required to be given to various authorities prior to dismantling of building are to be given by the Agency on behalf of the Owner and the copy of the same is to be submitted to the Owner.

  Maximum Time of Completion (Dismantling and Removal of rubbish)   is 45 Days (Forty five days) from the day of Work Order given to the successful Bidder  

SELECTION OF SUCCESSFUL BIDDER

The successful Bidder for the sale of the Building will be selected from the Bidders whose Bid value will be highest and completes the dismantling operation including removal of debris   in the shortest time 

The College Authorities reserve the right not to accept the highest offer   or any offer without assigning any reason whatsoever . The discretion of College Authorities in this regard will be final.

EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT      

The intending Bidder is required to deposit Earnest Money equals to deposit 20% (Twenty percent) of the Bid Value in a Demand Draft on any Nationalized Bank payable to MAHARAJA SRISCHANDRA COLLEGE
