Dateline is an open-access online journal published annually by the Department of English, Maharaja Srischandra College, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The journal seeks to attract students, faculty, and researchers to engage with complex ideas and perspectives and contribute diverse range of critically informed and scholarly essays, book reviews and other scholarly pursuits exploring new domains of thought and catalysing debates on issues that resonate across disciplines related to liberal arts.

Aims and Scope

We publish one issue annually (Online), in the month of October. It is an open-access journal, and we do not charge any APC (Article Processing Charges) / subscription fees. There are no publication or subscription charges for the author and readers charged by the publishing authority or editorial members.
